Lisa Byrn is a Texas born and raised singer-songwriter-guitarist. Her passion and love for music led her into producing and promoting music events since 1998. Having been around the Dallas music scene since 1975, she has come to know a huge network of singer-songwriters and musicians.  She realized the need to bring them together to share their music and ideas, increase their knowledge of the ever-changing music business and learn new ways to promote themselves.  In 2009 she founded Texas Independent Music Expo and has continued this musical venture.

She is co-founder and director of WAMJAM - Women's Acoustic Music Jam that originated in1998. WAMJAM is a network of female singer-songwriter/musicians that donate their music, time and effort in raising money for various local charities.

From 2001 - 2003, Lisa produced and directed a "live" music show called "Singer-Songwriter Showcase" through Dallas Community Television that aired weekly on Channel 33.

She was on the Board of Directors, 2009-2010, for Love for Kids; an organization that raises funds to provide fun, life- changing experiences for those less fortunate, the elderly and physically challenged kids.
